WEEKEND WORKSHOP
Make a Scrunchie - 13th April 2025 - 10.30am
Learn to make a hair scrunchie in Spring/Summer fabric.
Materials included. Need to be able to sew a straight stitch on a sewing machine.

SEWING CLUB
Now all options are available for both newcomers AND existing students
You can bring small multiple projects to complete incase they don’t take up a whole lesson, or one big project you would like help across more than one session.
Alterations, pattern changes, fitting or much more!
BEGINNER LESSON ZERO
Learn how to use a sewing machine. Basic stitches, seams and hems. Then make your first 3D project to use your new skills.
Great for complete beginners or those looking to refresh old skills before moving on to dressmaking.
Combine with our beginner dressmaking course for a discount when booked together.
BEGINNER DRESSMAKING
Learn how to use a commercial pattern and make a basic garment.
The garment is a choice of either an A-line/straight skirt or palazzo trouser.
This is a great follow on from Beginners Lesson zero, or for those looking to make their first garment. Discounted price for booking both together.

Below are courses we have run in the past but don’t currently have the capacity to run at the moment.
Feel free to take at look at what we can offer below, and please do get in touch if you’re interested - as the more interest we have for classes, the more likely we can run them when we can.
You can also choose to learn any of the garment courses below during our sewing club classes (not applicable to other courses or workshops). We just can’t promise you will complete them in one term, as the whole class isn’t doing the same garment. There is also an additional fee to cover the pattern and mock up fabric. Please get in touch if you wish to do this or leave a message in the box at checkout.
OVERLOCKER LESSON ZERO
Have an overlocker but don’t know where to start?
Learn how to thread your overlocker, use on woven and jersey fabrics and make your first 3D jersey project.
Perfect for those who want to gain some confidence in using their machine, before moving on to garments.

BEGINNER OVERLOCKER COURSE
Make your first jersey garment on your overlocker. Build your confidence to start working with jersey at home.
The garment will be a basic T-shirt, with various options of pattern hacking on the hem.
Combine with Overlocker Lesson zero if you have never used your overlocker before. Discount when booking both.

BEGINNER PLUS DRESSMAKING COURSE
A stepping stone between our beginner and improver course options, but a new dress style.
Make a button front dress, learning how to do buttonholes, bust darts, pockets and facings.
Perfect follow on course from our beginner dressmaking.

IMPROVER DRESSMAKING - AUTUMN DRESS
Improve your skills with a more involved garment, and learn new techniques.
Make a long sleeves dress with front bust gathers, normal or raglan sleeve, zip and collar or neck binding
Great for those who have made a few garment before and looking to move on to the next level.
If you would like to make this at sewing club - it will take a minimum of 8 classes.

IMPROVER DRESSMAKING - SHIRT/SHIRT DRESS
Improve your skills with a more involved garment, and learn new techniques.
We make a shirt/shirt dress and learn shaped seams, how to add sleeves, pockets, topstitching and attach a collar.
Great for those who have made a garment before and looking to move on to the next level.
If you would like to make this at sewing club - it will take a minimum of 7 classes.

IMPROVER DRESSMAKING - LINED COAT
Improve your skills with a more involved garment, and learn new techniques.
We make a coat (choice of length) drafting our own lining pattern, adding sleeves, facings and pockets.
Great for those who have made a few garment before and looking to move on to the next level.

IMPROVER DRESSMAKING - ZIP FLY TROUSER
Improve your skills with a more involved garment, and learn new techniques.
We make a pair of zip fly trousers, with pockets, a shaped waistband and belt loops. Additional option of buttoned hem opening.
